Bar Stools for Every Occasion!

At I. S. Furniture we make Barstools to match our Chairs or to match your existing furniture. We custom build them to the correct height, dependent on where they are to be used.
A good seat height for Barstools is usually 300 mm below the bench top where they are to be used. For instance for a breakfast bar of a standard height of 900 mm the usual seat height is 600 mm.

A Barstool as well as a Chair is subject to stresses that no other Furniture has to endure. That's why we use only high quality 2 part crosslinking pva glue and double hardwood dowels on all our Chair and Barstool joints.
All our Barstools, like the rest of our furniture, are available in a variety of timbers and finishes. We will also modify the designs and add or subtract features or change sizes for special requirements.
